  • 200 gms. Masoor Dal / Toor Dal
  • Onion (150 gms)
  • Tomato (100 gms)
  • 1 1/2 table spoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • salt as per taste and green corriander (kotmeer).
  • For Tadka 1/2 table spoon whole jeera
  • 1/2 table spoon rai and 2-3 whole dry red chillies

Cooking Method

(1) Boil dal in cooker and then smash it. (2) Finely chopp onions and tomatoes. (3) Fry chopped onions in cooking oil till it becomes soft and tender. Then add chopped tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, salt and Jaffson Dal Makkhanwala Masala and roast it for 5-7 minutes on low flame. (4) Now add boiled dal in the roasted ingredients and cook for 5 minutes on low flame

For Tadka : Fry Whole jeera, rai and whole dry red chillies in cooking oil and mix in the ready dal. Now your Dal Makkhanwala is ready to eat. Garnish it with fresh green corriander (kotmeer).
