MATERIALS
  • 500 gms. Mutton/Beef
  • Chana Dal (125 gms)
  • Masoor Dal (125 gms)
  • Doodhi (250 gms)
  • Onion (100 gms)
  • Tomato (150 gms)
  • 2 table spoon Ginger Garlic paste
  • Cooking Oil (150 gms)
  • 3-4 green chillies 
  • 1/2 table spoon haldi powder
  • Salt as per taste and Jaffson Dal Gosht Masala (40 gms)
  • For garnish use fresh green corriander (kotmeer) and mint (pudina)

Cooking Method

(1) Boil both dals (Chana and Masoor) with haldi powder in pressure cooker and pound or smash it. (2) Cut doodhi in to medium size pieces and cook in pressure cooker for 5 minutes. (3) Heat oil in cooker and fry chopped onions till it becomes soft and tender. Then add ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes, green chilles, salt and Jaffson Dal Gosht Masala and roast for 5 minutes. After that add 1 glass of water and mutton and cook for 5-10 minutes. (5) In a bowl mix both the boiled dals, medium size doodhi pieces, mutton and add 1/2 glass of water and cook for 5-10 minutes on low flame. (5) Now your Dal Gosht is ready to eat. Garnish it with fresh green corriander (kotmeer) and mint (pudina)
